Not been here in a long time so thought id share my venezeulanus fry, 8 days old and doing well so far. Approx 60-80 fry and only pulled 2 dead albinos from the tank so far. The last batch i raised about 20 to adulthood so hoping for more this time around Fry

Yep garden peas, some fish can be fussy so take the outer skin off and drop the flesh in :)

I personally use frozen for convenience, I just drop them straight in frozen others soften them up for a minute in some boiling water.

I have peppered and sterbai they mix sometimes but tend to stay to their own type, saying that the smallest pepper cory i have must think he is a sterbai cause he is alway trying to swim next to them

You can add bog wood to lower the ph level but it is gradual, what is the ph of your tap water?

I have a red tail in with 4 angels for nearly a year and have had no issues, the red tail stays well away from them in the bottom 1/3 of the tank

The nitrate from my tap water varies from 7.5-10 ppm and ph is 7.5, i am ina hard water area so nothing really i can do except having several pieces of bog wood to naturally lower it

I boiled my mopani for 2 hours popped it in the tank, never stained the water

I was told to not let them eat them all, too much calcium or something like that. So maybe take this one out. Post up a picture after the molt, love them i had to get rid of mine one day he started catching fish then lost half my tank in a week
