Anyone that uses Thrive all in one and Thrive root tabs/caps. Notice a ammonia spike and nitrate spike after using it? I added both yesterday. Also anyone notices the green caps floating to top of the substrate after they start disolving?

Ok so i just got a 10 gal tank with hood for 6 bux. I am wanting more plant friendly bulb than the 2 15w bulbs thats in it. What bulbs can i replace them with, with out changing the fixtures and are water splash proof? I keep low-med light plants.

Im not sure how i want to stock them, when i can get the time im gonna finish resealing and atleast prob dirt and heavy plant. I dont have any idea what i want lol

They have been out in the weather for idk how long and i did a water test. They both leak in the upright. Should i take a change and just reseal both or compeltely rebuild them..

I got a broken 20 long with the bottom busted and one of the side panels. Im going to cut the glass down so it will be about 10.5 gallons 12x12x17" what should i do with it? A rimless 10g or maybe a sump for my 55g Idk what does everyone think. thanks

how often does anyone change there filter media sponges?surely they need replaced sometimes. My tanks have been running around a year with my aqua clear 20's. Thanks
