That is one of them. They mainly stay on driftwood and blend in too much to take a picture. This one finally stuck to the glass for a couple of minutes.
I have a 30 gal community tank with a mix of tetras and mollies and 2 bristlenose plecos. I first saw one baby near some driftwood. I thought it was a black molly baby but then noticed it was a pleco. I thought it came in a bag of other fish I bought. Then tonight I noticed there were 2 babies...
I have enough Live Rock in tank. I had some live rock rubble from old filter, but not enough to put in the new filter. I might add more chemical filtration. I'm happy with my first G6. The filter cartridge gets clogged very fast , but they are so easy to clean. I don't even have to turn off...
I purchased a fluval G6 for fowlr tank. I have one on a freshwater tank and it works great. My question is about the biological media. I usually use LR rubble in my filter. Should use that in the baskets or the bio media? Maybe a combination of both. Just looking for any suggestions.

Thanks for all the info! I have them in a 46 gal tank with other smaller cichlids. I keep the water at about 78 with a ph of 7. They seem to be doing quite well. I don't know about breeding though. I only have two and I don't if they are a male and a female. I appreciate the quick response...
I just purchased two Red Point Cichlids and wanted to know more about them. Has anyone ever had them and can tell me their experience with them? Thanks!

I just had a thought and wanted to get some opinions. Is there something I can put in my filter to buffer the ph? With a sw tank I can put crushed coral in my canister to help buffer the ph. I add ph buffer to make my tank 7.5 when I do water changes. I would be interested in what people put in...
