fluval 305/runs great unless i loose suction a real pain sometimes, i either need to overhaul or get another fiilter have co2 live plants

2 rainbows 6 otos. i have compact lighting which has been causing all kinds of grief ( heat problems)
have had cichlids and salt , fish only but not now/ space is a bit tight
and wife says no-no
