Yea I was thinking about it and that's way too big of a tank. Maybe a 240g would be better. Does anyone know a good website on setting one up? With overflows, filters needed and sump? I have a 55g but only have a hob carbon filter so it's not that complicated.

Yes, he is from the Seattle area. This would be my third tank. I have a seahorse tank and a 55g reef setup. I was thinking of using that 500g as a predator only tank but I really have no clue what it would cost me. I was looking at a new 240g setup costing more than $4000!!

I need your guys expertise on this. I saw a 500g tank on craigslist for sale and are asking $6000 for the whole setup. What is your guys opinion on this?

What kind of conch do u recommend? And how many for a 55g?

I have 55g with 2 koralia 750 and 1 koralia 250. I feed once a day. Brine shrimp mixed with ova. I do a 8g water change every 2weeks.

I added a powerhead, new lighting and 2 new fish in my 55g reef. It is 2yrs old and all of a sudden cyano and diatoms pop up. I've tried water changes and less feeding but it seems to be getting worse. Any advice to get rid of it?

So I bought a chalice frag the other day, my first chalice, now idk what to do with it. Do I just leave it on a rock? Or put it on my sanded? Do I lie it down or stick it up vertically? Pls help lol.
