Bp's are notoriously shy at first. I have 3 and when they where introduced into my tank they hid for a couple of months. I put sinking cichlid pellets in for them when the lights went of at night.
Now they are first over to the glass begging for food, they even crowd to the corner of the glass...
I have a 20ltr in my sons bedroom, a 60ltr in my daughters bedroom, a 150ltr in the kitchen & a 450ltr in the hall......would lover another but hubby says no lol...
Be careful with the panda tetras....I have 7. I woke up one morning to find all my fish hidding at the bottom of my tank.....the pandas were terrorizing them. They have their own tank now with amano shrimp for company......lovely looking fish but wee terrors lol
I also added a small shoal of copper Harlequins. After a few weeks they were shoaling together. My friend has 4 blood parrots in her tank, when she got them she didn't see them for 6 months. She used to peek through the crack in the door, just to get a glimpse of them lol.
