this little guy lives in my anenome, but i can't tell what kind of shrimp it is? it looks like a mix between a sexy anenome shrimp and a pistol? any ideas or answers?

i have a good sized brittle star that i want to put in my refugium. will they eat all of the pods and other good stuff in there? also, will it disturb the chaeto that i have?

i dont see any ballasts? only bulbs and fixtures. can u help me find it

i think i have to replace one of the ballasts on my PC orbit (2x96W). i know its not the bulbs b/c they both light up on the other ballast. the question is, which one do i get? does anyone know where a nice, cheap, long lasting one is?

i just wanted to say that chaeto is amazing!!! just one week ago, my nitrates were at 35. then i put some chaeto in my refugium and now it's at 5! i didnt expect this macro to work so fast and effectively! if you're looking for a good macro, i recommend chaeto to use!

is a heater hose safe for the return pump on a sump? will it have ill effects on the fish?

I have a 10 gallon tank lying around that i want to turn into a refugium. its purpose is to grow plants/macroalgae for nitrate reduction and to be a pod farm. It will have an intake, then a set of baffles, then the space for the refuge, one more set of baffles, then the return pump. is this...
