Is there a way to remove a very light scratch from an acrylic tank?

did you say you dont use any salt for your tank? I add kent sea salt to my tank, so the salinity level is 1.010 or so. Do you use any buffers for your africans? do you have bubblers in your tanks?

haha i scraped all the old silicone off with a razor, vacuumed it out, then cleaned it with alcohol. When i took the silicone off after it leaked it was not dry underneath. I dont think i waited long enough lol. Either way, there is no way im giving up on this tank, ive invested too much into it...

405's are pretty good, and I particularly like how the magnum 350 works. Throw two on there and it's lookin pretty good IMO.

I don't know if anyone else does this, but i drive down to the beach and snag as much slate rock as i can carry, boil it, then stak it all in my tank. I also use lava rock and, I pick up granite slabs so i can make caves with that too!

with my gravel i always find it easier to vacuum it out, and yeah, if you can do 90, definately do it. I guess the sand/rock thing is all personal preferance, I have an albino oscar with white rock and it looks awesome. What kind of filtration are you looking into?
