Hey can someone help me identify this starfish? I've had my tank for months and I've literally just saw him now lol. If he's dangerous please let me know because I might not see him for a couple more months.

So I have a mix of hermits and snails and am aware eventually the hermits will most likely start attacking the snails. My turbo snails was on the glass and I noticed a little dent in his foot. Is there any other settings on the hydor smart wave besides both being on or alternating? Anything that makes it go from 1-2 powerheads on?

Might have to zoom but they're located upper left and right. (The right is point more along the front glass and the left one goes across the tank)

I posted this thread awhile ago but was recently playing around with my hydor 850 powerheads. I had them alternating every 3 hours so only one was on at a time. The past day I put them both on. What do you guys think about have two 850's going in a 54 corner? Is that a good amount of flow...

Ya I actually got them awhile ago, as long as they can support softies and lps I'm happy with them for now. I definitely want to get a pendulum light as an upgrade in the future, it would be great for above a corner tank. Thanks for the help!!!!

Ya I wasn't trying to break the bank with these lights so I didn't go crazy. They look good but I just wasn't sure if they were strong enough. Even though they might not have the best appearance, do you think they will easily support corals?

So I got solar flare dx lights to start my tank. There are 24 3w LEDs (18 white 6 blue) I can't find much review on them and am not sure if they have enough power for my 54 corner tank. I'm not positive but I think they put out around 74 watts. If anyone has any information on these lights or...

If I were you I would wait as patiently as I could and continue to test your water until you are confident parameters are in check and stable.

Have you seen any other indications of cycle process like diatoms or any algae?
