let us know how the fluorite works out. i currently use plant supplement added as a liquid. not a firm believer of the fluorite and co2. haven't used it in my tanks --so if the feedback is good i would consider it for my next tank.

you wanna be careful with too much light. since they would also promote algae growth. a couple of algae eaters in the tank would help. i have a 29gallon and dont have as much lighting as you do, but ended up with significant algae. the sad part is that once the algae starts to grow on the plant...

i looked it up in a book i have and the closest pictures i found were of : - white striped pimelodus (pimelodus albofasciatus) or - Spotted pimelodus (pimelodus maculatus) hope this helps.

your water level sounds fine. also the blue filter is fine as long as water is going through it. basically as it collects junk on the left hand side and gets clogged up....water will move over to the right side. ypu do have to change it once it is completely blocked.

Thank you very much for the reply. I decided to go with the Nano Cube -12g, much quieter. Final question...are Nano Cube aquariums made of glass (SiO2) or plexiglass or acrylic? The tank came with a magnetic scrubber which i dont want to use if it is going to scratch the tank. the owners...

i am looking to set up a 12gallon aquarium for fresh water fish and plants. based on the postings it seems that the nano cube and aquapods had cracking issues......on earlier models...what is the consensus now? are these safe to buy. i am also considering an eclipse system. the only difference...
