- I have a extra long and wide 55 gallon with a magnum 350 canister filter. Ive had it going for about 3 months. I have a Texas cichlid that's about 6 inches long who is very skiddish and peaceful, a juvenile electric blue jack, 2 silver dollars a small Senegal bichir, and a small black banded leporinus. I know I will need to upgrade tank size and I am working in it for now everyone is happy healthy and stable. I also have another tank the same size with two convicts two jacks and an acei and they are doing great as well. All the fish have grown and become more colorful since purchased. I feed them pellets flakes frozen bloodworms shrimp pellets and live brine shrimp I spoil them
