- I only have a 100 gallon tank that homes 5 comet/common goldfish. I have a Fluval 405 Canister filter running. I have this problem with my old goldfish and new goldfish, they seem to not get along. My new one gets chased around a lot by my old goldfish. Both are about the same size and I usually think that all goldfish get along well and not fight at all.
