Here are some other pictures I took, from what I can tell it looks like the previous owner put those black pieces over the brace so I think it is an eurobraced

switch over to SW from FW and had a few questions

Ya look up sumpless tanks that's the route I'm gonna go with as I don't have the space for a sump or deal with the plumbing. I'm debating using my fluval 404 as it will require lots of maintenance with my schedule it'll be hard. Look into just getting a HOB skimmer reef octopus makes good ones...

    Tap water

Yes I know its a no no and the best route is to get an ro/di unit. I haven't tested my water with a tds meter not sure were to get one. But I tested my water out of the faucet I get 0 nitrate 0 nitrite 0 ammonia. Would you still not use tap water or would I be safe and just get some water...

So I was planning on getting a reef octopus BH 1000 or 90 not sure which route I want to go and then get...

    Picking a sand

I've read that silica 20 is a hit or miss it's like pool filter sand also read some people using play sand with no issue

    100 gallon tank newbie

No worries we've all been there a skimmer skims top of the water and collects all (well not all) the bad stuff like fish poop and waste I wouldn't use any of that stuff you listed but I've heard people been successfully with the canister filter I guess it has its pro and con to it. I was...

    Resealing question

A little update spent another 2hrs clean and almost there. Quick question has anyone ever resealed a tank without removing the original seal, like just going over the old seal. I know stupid question
