I wasnt saying use an actually QT or refugium... i was saying you can use container like an QT or Reguium.... This is what my buddy has... CPR CITR In-Tank Refugium it worked out great to get the clown and nem to host... very short time too.

Well, thats why you have the "QT/refugium" inside the tank... no change in light, no change in anything, really! :)

I have a friend that placed the clown and nem in a in take refugium/QT kind of set up. They hosted pretty quickly, then were moved back into the tank. Just an idea :)

everyone I know that has a refugium has that kind of set up. but they dont usually use bioballs. I dont think it would be an issue though.

I had about 5 of them come in on my live rock... they reproduce fast... I'm up to about 20 now in 4 months.

Interesting thought... I have a lot of people tell me that canister filters are Nitrate factories.... Id rather have a refugium with some macro to help me, then have something that is producing it....

The lights are about 3 months ago. I started the tank on May 1, with all new equipment. The only things I can really attribute to it are the filter and possibly over feeding... which, that could be the problem, but with the two shrimp, they're pretty aggressive at feeding time, and done ever...
