I currently have 2 false tank raised perc's and will prob be getting a few snail and maybe a cleaner shrimp once the algae starts (which it will inevitably I feel). Right now there is no algae at all and the 'trates are at 0 so I will see if we get enough growth to sustain them.

Yuh sure do. Your aquarium is going to have to stay at a constant temperature varying no more than a few degrees ideally. I have a 150W on my tank and if keeps it right at 79-80 degrees. I would just keep an eye on the temp. of the tank and if it is steady then you are good.
