Discus, Uaru, and Frontosa have been proven to be as intelligent as the average 3-5 year old child. i think you should do discus. They all have personalities and are def a wet pet.

Wet pet idea, probably the king of all wet pets: Longspine porcupinefish. I know its salty and eventually youd have to rehome him but those things have so much personality. I was at my SW LFS and they had one, I stood in front of the tank playing with him for 10 minutes.

Id say do the discus. If youve got angels and rams, then youve gotta complete the "Three Kings" trifecta. Although I love the loach idea and I know you love them if you already have so many loaches then it would be good to have something else. Also if you get all loaches then the tank will just...

Update on the betta rescue! My teacher has gone through 3 bettas in the week and a half since school has started... Finally convinced her to get a bigger container, but it's sad that I had to say "The pet stores say that betta enclosures like that are humane so the bettas die and you have to go...
Yeah... For all she knows you guys could send a bomb in the mail instead of fish, or pedophiles that will come spy on us once you get our address... If I ever start breeding though I'll be excited to mail to you (with no return adress)!

Feelin jealous... Being a young little fellow my mom wont let me get fish in the mail, especially from "starngers" instead of places like LiveAquaria.com. I want all those fish!!!
