I have mine in a 75, I have multiple places for him to hide, coconuts, wood, gravel, but he doesn't mind coming out. A 29 for qt is fine and I have him in with discus, angel fish, and a royal pleco.
He's out all the time. It's pretty much trained eating time. I feed the other fish. His head pokes out then I put in the blood worms. Even the dehydrated ones, ill pinch some put it by him and he eats it.
I have one. The biggest thing I would suggest next to tank size is get them to accept non live foods. Mine eats frozen blood worms, ghost shrimp, and an occasional fish big enough to fit in its mouth. Oh and a lid they're jumpers.
So I have an opportunity to pick up a blue phantom for $49 including shipping. It's about 3" long. Is it worth the price to get this guy or should I keep looking?
I have a baby fire eel that I'm looking to find I new home for. I rescued him from a disastrous situation. Free to a good home, pick up only in southeastern wisconsin.
I am looking for a new home for my fahaka puffer. He/she is about 6" and is in need of a bigger tank. I live in Kenosha, wi. Between Chicago and Milwaukee. I do not want to chance shipping so that's off the table. I would like to get $40.00 for him.
I picked up a regal tang that was in with two other clowns. He hid for like a week, I went back and picked up the two clowns and now he's out everywhere as soon as I put the two clowns he was with in with him in the tank. Idk if its coincidence or not.
