I know Nerite Snails eggs dont hatch in freshwater, and thats the main reason I have them. But I dont like how they lay eggs everywhere as it doesnt look good. Is there another animal that will eat their eggs? And is it true that if I just leave it, eventually it will go away by its own?

I decided to buy Otocinclus Catfish because of my hair algae, so does what you guys said still apply? Because the Catfish will eat all the algae, and no algae will be left for snails and shrimp.

Oh I actually have a UV filter, I just never used it! I thought that was just for green algae? Is the hair algae I have green?
