Plenty of different ideas, that's what I love about cichlids. I personally never have any two of my tanks look even slightly similar, your setup is nice and if that's how you like it then its fine. The only reason you should change the stuff you like is if the fish are unhappy other than that...

I'm keeping the peacocks in it of course I just need some help picking different species of peacocks when I get the females. I want a random outcome but a lot of people tell me some won't even breed with other types.

Im not sure what type of cichlid this is, to me personally it looks like a very pale red zebra. I got it from a local fish store and the owner clearly stated this was a mutt type fish and I got 2 hoping they would color up, except I have no idea what it is. Sorry pics will be up in a minute...

I'd have to agree with river2k, my rubescence looks like its twin. Maybe twin might be a stretch, mine is about 4.5 in and very colorful. Bad camera quality sorry.

And the plecs are some of my favorite fish even though they do produce a lot of waste. My tank is currently super over filtrated with 2 405s is what I believe they are.
