My current stock is: 6 Cherry barbs, 10 Harlequin Rasboras, 21 Tiger Barbs, 6 Otocinclus, 5 Kuhli Loaches, 1 Rainbow shark, and the severum. With my Kuhlis and my live plants, I don't think adding salt would be the best idea. I know to slowly raise the temperature so it doesn't shock the fish...

mikem691, It's good to hear that yours didn't dig, that's a big concern for me. I read that if severums are fed vegetables (like cucumbers and peas, etc) they would be less likely to eat the plants. Is this true? I put cucumber in my tank every now and then for my otocincluses (otocincli?)...
