I have recently got some shrimp and I am wondering what to feed them. I have some algae wafers but they haven’t touched them. Any ideas?

I have some white baby mollies in a baby tank. They need to be in there because my other fish will eat them. The tank has filtration slits in the side so every time I put baby fish food in the tank it leaks out. What should I do? Thanks
