- I have a fully set up 40 gallon freshwater tank with a heater, air pump, filter, overhead light and thermometer. Plenty of plants and hiding places. I have 3 candy platys, 3 tiger barbs, 2 pearl gourami, 3 red swordtails, 4 zebra danios, and 2 albino plecos. Just starting out
