Hi guys, so the last 2 times I changed my water and replaced it with cleaner water, it turned white...like someone took powdered chalk and dumped it into my tank. What is happening?

Yup, dragon scale and 6 months old...she's acting completely fine, and I've seen no indicators of stress yet. And yes, the patch is on her top back fin :( As for the water, I'm keeping the temperature around 78 deg. F.
