My clown loach has been swimming around the top of the tank now for about a week. I never see him away from the surface of the water any more. Does anyone know why he's doing this?
I've got two very small cichlids in my ten gallon tank at the moment and i'm going away for about a week. how dangerous do you think it would be to move my goldfish into the tank from his bowl for the week?
I've had him in the tank before when i was cleaning his bowl but that probably doesnt...
As stated in the first post....it is a ten gallon with a 15 watt bulb.
I feed once a day. I was feeding twice a day but the tank would get cloudy so i cut back and now it doesnt get cloudy. The stuff on the rocks is green and the stuff on the plants is brown. Hope that helps.
In my ten gallon I have some rocks and a few fake plants and recently I just switched to an automatic timer for the light. I leave the light on for about 8 hours a day but i still seem to be getting algae and/or mold growing on the rocks and plants. I've kept my fish in the dark for a couple...
Now my goldfish is lying on the bottom. He doesnt do it all the time. Most of the time he swims around normally but every once in a while he just lays on the bottom. whats wrong with him?

I just got two dwarf puffers and a clown loach for my ten gallon tank. They're doing great. Anyway, i was reading up on the clown loach and i read that its lifespan is 50 years. Is this accurate? I got it from a reliable site i think.

I have a ten gallon to fill. I'm thinking possibly dwarf puffers, but i also like putting together little communities with diversity. Give me some combinations. Thanks.
