    Jumping fish stories?

I lost one of my adf. Found him like 2 days later literally hopping across my kitchen floor! Almost 20ft from tank. He must have gotten out the tiny hole at the back of the lid. He was very dehydrated but recovered remarkably well other than a fractured foot he had no lasting damage and is alive...

    Poorly guppy

So after having a platy with a tumour I now have a guppy with a shredded tail. Water parameters fine and everyone else fine. He's eating and swimming fine and otherwise acting normally. I've just got back from a week away and all was fine when I left. I have noticed occasional bullying from the...

    Baby cory sucked up syphon!

Was doing a pwc as usual. Never saw anything untoward. Was just tipping out the bucket and I noticed my cory baby! I've rescued him and put him back into the main tank. He seems ok. Has anyone else done this? Will he be ok? Also had a adf end up in the sink as he hitched a ride on the cleaning...

    Lump on platy

Not the best pic but this is a 2 year old platy. She has a black lump near her head. Kinda hard to see in the pic but it's like a protrusion of some sort. She is acting more skittish than usual and hiding a lot. Any ideas? Oh she's pregnant as well, but that's nothing new Sent from my iPhone...

    Surprise birth

So after many attempts to raise cory fry I gave up. Just glanced over at my community tank and noticed a 1.5cm cory baby swimming about! It has survived platys, guppys, adf's, corys and ottos (no threat from them but still!). I know my tank is heavily planted so it's obviously hidden well but...

    African Dwarf Frog Help

I have 6 adf and 1 of them I think has broke his arm in an accident, about a year ago! He still holds it down to the side and never moves it but he's always been well in himself. They resilient little things Sent from my Nexus 7 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    Considering hillstream loaches

Should be fine if you can get the flow. I have kept these fish but found them a bit boring and very stubborn! I didn't have a specific flow tank just powerful powerhead and air stones which they loved. They are pretty fish but they don't do much really, just sit in the flow of water. They were...

    ADF

That will provide some much needed shelter. Maybe get like 4 more if you can. They really like company and produce very little waste. Other than that, likely cause of death was stress from move. Some more sensitive than others. Just make sure they get food and they will be happy Sent from my...

I'd suggest some more hiding places. Like a cave or something. They get very stressed if can't hide properly Sent from my GT-I9505 using Aquarium Advice mobile app

    ADF

Have you got any caves or hiding places? They spend a lot of time under things and can get very skittish if nowhere to hide. Plants will be good when grown a bit Sent from my GT-I9505 using Aquarium Advice mobile app
