Run the skimmer as soon as you get it. It will need some break in time along with you will need to fine tune it a bit for a good skimming action. Agreed that the ASM is better. not sure if you are a do it yourself person but you can make better skimmers for less, just a thought though. good...

sailfert are nice due to the fact most not all of them use count the drops or simple formula to caculate the exact number of what your testing. and takes the color guessing game out of testing. and your right alot of test go from zero and then 20 or 30 which doesnt help much.
