I have eight green chromis in a qt for four weeks now. These are great shoal fish and get along swimmingly. They are easy to take care of and are quiet hardy. Yea they do give off a nice glowing sheen as they school by. Started Prozi pro bath yesterday.
Acrylic paint, took three coats one hour apart with a nappy roller. Still have over three quarters of a quart left. Good for painting the bottom of your QT or additional tanks in the future. If you need a pic I can do later,@ work. Working:dance:
I have a 950 Danner pump for my return in my Eshopps 150 wet dry filter which seems to be over kill. Any thoughts on what pump I need ? I'm afraid that it will be putting to much pressure on the return line.Thanks in advance.
I wonder is there a self life? I 'm starting my new tank and ran slap out of week end time. Start the day @ five & end it @ six or seven. Last thing my schedule affords is setting up a tank on Monday night.
Should I leave the circulating pump on in the salt mix barrel until I use it or just a couple hours until its mixed ? I also have a air stone going as well.
Okay should I use a silicone (Aquarium safe) in all the connections or pvc glue. The connections seem tight as can be but if it leaks then the water my slept back into the sump I think over night. The instructions seem straight forward but do not mention pvc glue or silicone. These are not...
My lfS advised that I add the RO/DI water directly to my 90 gal. tank and then mix salt for the initial set up. Then add the live sand by lowering the bags into the tank and releasing the sand into the mixed salt water . Is this cool or should I put the sand in first and then add water?
