Really? I've rarely heard of hobby fish surviving that long. I did read a report where a sailfin lived for 15 years at the Waikiki Aquarium. Do you think there are there lots of people coming close to that these days?
There are no captive bred yellow tangs. Researchers just got a handful of larvae to the 14 day stage last month. Breeding/raising them in commercial numbers is still years away, if at all possible.
