I'll get some 3mm and try that. problem is, I have like 1200gm of 1mm pellets. 1 can is sealed so I might be able to trade it for 3mm.

Anyone tried KG tropicals in VA? They are a bit far from me but took the road trip to go visit them. Very nice fish for mbuna, peacocks and haps. They ship also.

is that because it is better to do multiple feedings a day? As to why 1mm pellets, in my case, most of my fish are under 4 inches. is there a rule of thumb for when to switch to bigger size pellets?

I put mine on a diet a couple of days ago and I also have noticed a LOT less poop in the tank. I think I'll keep the once a day feeding.
