It will be a challenge to get the sump tank under the display tank since I will need to remove the front supports. I have a 2x4 board inside the canopy which is fastened to the ceiling joists. My plan is to put us hooks and use ratchet straps to support the front while I do my work.
Closest to the bottom of the pic is water entry, then a spill over through a sponge and floss, then 2 cubic feet of k2 bio media, then a fish isolation section, then return pump and mechanicals. Just ordered the pump today.

I am in the process of setting up a 210 gallon freshwater tank with a 100 gallon sump. I have mocked up the sump design; however, this is my first design ever. Does anyone have any comments/advice?
Im not sure. I was just looking at picking up a couple of 2 bulb fixtures from Menards. Tank is 210 gallons at 72in long I believe. Do you think 4 bulbs would be enough? I want the tank to be bright.
Thanks for the reply. What if I wanted to just have some simple lake moss or something to that effect in there? Would any fancier lighting be required? Im leaning towards the florescent T% shop light idea.
