Sorry it took a while. I still can't figure out how to edit a post. I'm asking $2500 for everything. The pictures really don't do it justice. If you're local and would like to see it in person, I'd be happy to show it.

I have a durso standpipe in the overflow of my 90g. It's been going ok for over 2 years now but I'm always having to adjust how much air it needs let into it. It'll be fine for a few weeks and then the water level in the overflow will starting going up and down and making gurgling noises...

In the pic, you can see a head with two antennae. There is a web-like substance that extends from the head and it sort of reels it in very slowly. It can quickly dart back in the hole. Any ideas?

Well the water is clear but there is "gook" all over. Maybe a picture is needed. It doesn't look like a mini version of the main tank.

I have a refugium in my sump as well as a HOB refugium. They've become rather murky places. Should I periodically clean out? Not with soap or anything but just wash off the rocks and clean off the sides and whatnot. I'm guessing this would kill most of the stuff in there. Or should I just...

I have one that does that too. He wedges himself between them at night and lays there motionless.

Oooooh... I do dose iodine! Thanks for that tidbit! I'm going to cut back on the iodine and see what happens.

Reading up on them now. As long as they're not eating my pods, and my mandarin is eating them in the main... seems like they're not so bad. Food for the mandarin.

Well crap. Thanks for the ID though. I actually have a Spotted Mandarin (Synchiropus picturatus?) which might explain why I've never seen them in my main. Maybe I should just clean out the HOB fuge and either let it repopulate or forget it altogether.

I've recently noticed these in my HOB fuge. They're about the size of pods and are typically on the glass but they can swim to some extent. I've never seen them in my main. I'm concerned that they could be something bad. Appear to have a tube-like body. Anyone have a clue?
