I have a white bump on a piece of my LR thats a little bigger then a pea. It is growing slowly and I am seeing some small dark dots inside of it, since the outside is semi transparent. I have this stuff growing on a piece of my LR that looks like snot, for lack of a better term. It is a cloudy white color. What is it? Good or bad? I am sorry the pics are not the best but it is very hard to focus on this stuff :( Thanks!

Actually the bubbles have slowed down quite a bit and I hope once it breaks in it will stop. I might throw the blue sponge on the return pipe and see what happens, but Zero if you read this let me know what you did since I know yours is working well!

OK so I threw the black sponge in and in the process broke my heater! like an idiot I pulled it out of the water while plugged in... got really hot... no bueno! so I should stack the blue on top of the black sponge?

What Gravel are you talking about?? My substrate is "live" black sand, but it does have some small rocks in it... Is this bad?? I will try to aim the PH's towards the front a little more and see what happens. As for the sponge filters i should have both of them in there?? In the same chamber...
