How much crushed coral or aragonite should I use in a 55 gal tank? Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions but I've never had to deal with this problem before. I've had fish for many years but I never had water like this before I moved here.

Got my ph kit out. It reads about 7.4 out of tap or in the Basic range. My water is from the county supply. There is still some agrucultural activity here so maybe that is a factor. How much baking soda is to much. The tanks are empty so it isn't like I'm going to kill anything.
