My black moor goldfish got small patch of creamy whitish brownish stuff on her side, I think it's a fungus but my sister says its normal since she also had a black moor goldfish before. Is it a fungus or is she just adjusting to her tank?

Now that is something I do know, I remember having a ryukin goldfish when I was a little kid an Swimmy was a messy fish but somehow he lived up for 5 years along with my sister's black moor, Becky(somehow I remember all of their names).

And she's about between 1 and 2 inches so she's pretty small

Well I bought a 2.5 gallon Aqueon Mini Bow and the instructions said to wait 2 days to allow it to cycle. I also watched YouTube videos and some people just added their fish in after they added water conditioner and waited for a few minutes or longer. Which one should I do?:confused::confused:
