Hey guys, I have had my tank for about 6 months. I tested my water and I have high Ph @ 8.0 and slightly high ammonia levels @ .1 what do these mean exactly. I know about the ammonia levels but I don't really understand ph... is it dangerous for my fishies? Thanks!

I looked it up, he was an albino cory catfish.

    White catfish - freshwater died

He was about an inch. No blood got out, it looked like an aneurism or something. I need to go buy a water test kit.

****, so I did a 25% water change. Any other tips? I need to feed less I guess also. I only feed them once a day. I have a 30 Gal set up with about 13 fish. 4 Neon tetras 1 catfish, 2 red tetra and 6 glowlight tetras. So sad about the other catfish, they used to lay together at the bottom. :(

    White catfish - freshwater died

Hey I am new here but I have had my tank for about 6 months or so. No deaths until today. I had 2 white catfish, not really sure of the exact species. But 1 died and he had blood in his head and eye. What could have been the problem? Thanks.
