Hi, I had one aiptasia at first & thought it was quite cool. However...after finishing my tank three months later I had apprx 12 of them. Huge ones too. I read various ways of getting rid of them. One of them was to stab them straight through the middle with a hot screwdriver & grind them out...
I haven't done any water changes at all.I have just been topping up the evaporated water.Adding Amquel+ to it.
I think I will have to start doing frequent water changes.This might sound stupid...But how is this done?Do I have to add anything to the tap water,do I have to leave it to stand for...
I have just found yet another crab in my reef tank.They keep popping up.Obviously hitchikers.
This one has a body approx 1 inch across,a stony colour & furry...sorry I don't have a pic of him...any ideas???
So what you're saying is because I have alot of LR & LS in my tank along with corals,worms etc.Then my Nitrate level should be zero.

Well i'm up another night due to a very painful mouth....anyway...I added a very nice red feather star yesterday,When i looked in the tank this morning most of it's legs looked like they had been severed.Although it was still moving around.
As the day has gone on though it seems most of the legs...
