I have a red belly pacu and he has insanely dry lips, he actually has a big piece peeling off, and I just wanted to know if this is common or what would cause this.

My friend just got a 55 gallon tank that came with some fish and they were too big for what he was doing so he gave them to me and now I just wanted to see if anyone could help me with the names of them. If any of them are to blurry or dark let me know and I'll try to get better ones

I jus wanted to know if flounders get a long with cichlids or if they will be pickin at him and kill em, anyone know?

Ya I dropped a few in and they pretty much got eaten right away even tho I fed them before I dropped the snails in, I jus want them to live long enough to multiply and give the tank a cool lively look

Ok thanks I'll look into that, and if i want some of them to live, do u know if the fish suck them out of the shell or if they eat the whole thing?

And u can get these assassin snails from LFS?

I jus got some of those snails that multiply like crazy and I was jus wondering what all eat these, I know the clown loaches do but are cichlids suppose to eat them too?

So I got everything set up, but I was hoping someone tell me how to help get the foam down. It's not at the top of my tank but underneath in the filtration system and I was hoping it would jus take some time for it to settle down but I don't know how much time that would take and it's already...

Ya it's a megaflow model 3 sump filter, and it's good for a 110 gallon but I have a 55 gallon so it filters like crazy lol, and ya I'm gonna have more pics up soon : )

Thanks for the replies, I got it up and running : ) it's a huge upgrade from my 20 gallon, it's gonna look good

So I got a new 55 gallon tank with a filtration system I never seen before, it's a megaflow model 3 sump filtration and it goes in the under storage part of the aquarium stand, but my question is how do u prep it or set it up? I would really appreciate some advice

I am just wondering if u get a new filtration system if u have to start over the regular PWC process like once a day again.

Ya which of course when all of them grow quit a bit bigger I will upgrade to a bigger setup, which I can't wait for : )
