I have to agree with Zer0. Make sure that your tank is ready for an anemone, we just lost a BTA since we didn't do our homework before buying it.

Currently they aren't picking on each other or anything. I'm going to be putting together a larger FOWLR later this year so he will probably go in there.

We had to go get refills of water today and while we were at the LFS we picked up a new tankmate for our fish. I just hope the Domino doesn't pick on him too much, already spoke with the LFS and they said they would take him off our hands if he did start picking on them since he already bullies...

Unfortunately, no. When I got home yesterday he seemed to have some pink algae-like substance on him and we moved him a little with a feeding stick and saw is pedicle was beginning to break apart. We took him out right away and just chocked it up to a learning experience. We did a water change...

He's looking better. His mouth isn't open all the way any more, but he's still shriveled up. I'm gonna give him a day or two, make sure I keep a good eye on him to see if he starts breaking apart.

We tested the Nitrate, Ammonia, and PH a few days ago and they all came out at normal levels.

Yeah, he started sliding off of it when he went into his excreting phase and eventually fell off of it. Now he's moved further back and has kind of covered himself, folded over. I'm gonna just give it a day or so and see if anything happens.

I just called the LFS and they said he was purging his system, I don't know whether to believe them or not. The water doesn't smell and he's not falling apart. We've had the tank up for about 8 months now.

Hi everyone! New member here and first post has to be about death, yuck. My wife bought a BTA about 2 weeks ago and we put it in our 30 gal Nano Cube. Everything is stock on it, so I'm pretty sure the lights are a bit underpowered (something we weren't told by our LFS), but we plan on upgrading...
