    can i use a undergravel filter with pool filter sand

    What brands are you guys buying? I bought some pool filter sand for $8.50/50 lb bag and it's a darker colored mix (about the same as PS from Home Depot).     Most LFS's offer free water testing. I'd call em up and see if they would do that for you.
