I have a wooden canopy that has a long hole in the back for air exchange. The hood is my light fixture for my pc which have two small fans on them, which are located on the back also. How would you connect these computer fans to a power source?

Oh the lights are pc 96 watt each.

I have 1 sand sifting starfish 4 turbo snails and 8 hermit crabs. I plan on getting more. I have 2 fish. In a 70 gal tank. I'm just taking it slow. The only reason I ask is because my lfs said I should.

I have about a 3 inch sand bed and I cycled with live rock and a shrimp the tank has been up for sometime now and I was wondering if I should vacuum my sand to get all the dead stuff that fell off and to clean my sand. I had live sand.

I would say yes from the die off on the lr. Does your tank already have lr in it? has it already cycled?

I got my lr, ls and shrimp a couple of days after I set up the tank. When I started my cycle. I have a 70 gal tank. My ammonia spike was about .50 My lr looks pretty good it has a good amount of coralline algae. Had some die off but seems to be doing good. Three days ago my Nitrite was .25

My skimmer has been running for about 1 week will it eventually stop producing all these micro bubbles. I have moved it around so it dumps by the drain and it has reduced the bubbles, but not eliminated them. I have a sponge filter between my baffles and one on my return pump. Is there anything...

I think it's from my skimmer I'm going to try and have it dump more by the drain. As for the water level it is about 6 1/2 inches deep. thanks for your help.

I have an oceanic model 1 sump it has 2 baffles between the drain and the return pump my skimmer is before the 2 baffles between them is a foam sponge

In my tank the return from my sump has maybe tiny bubbles or small particles or something coming out with the water. what is this? is it harmful? a friend of mine said that they maybe micro bubbles. Is my skimmer causing this? Oh I've only had my tank running for a week or so.

I have a pro clear 150 skimmer and had it running I can't seem to get it tuned right. Do the bubbles need to go up into the cup or the bottom. I'm still cycling "fishless" not sure if this will affect it. I know it won't be skimming anything but I'm trying to get it down now while I don't have...
