Blaa blah blaaa.. I'm not here for the tang police. I'm not going to even entertain this. All my fish are small and everyone is happy. By the time my tang gets too big I will have him in a 150g. But until then everything in my tang is great. Everything is growing well, all fish are eating well...

I say go for it as well. I did the same with clowns. Same family of fish. Each week they pick one each other at random. It's pretty funny. But nothing bad. I have 6 total.

I don't think it's red slime algae. It's only on the top of those dead corals which are at the top of my tank in high water flow.

Hello all. I got this rock with these basically bleached corals about six or seven months ago. I even put them in a tub of peroxide a few months ago to kill some hair algae off them. But with in the past month or so it looks like some fleshy pink is growing on all three of these coral skeletons...

Bad picture. It's like a rock almost but solid dark purple and growing.

My recommendation.....skip it and get maybe 95% base rock and get one small piece of cycled live rock from someone or some store you know. Problem with buying live rock is that it comes with all kinds of hitch hikers. Both good and bad. The problem is that the bad may survive and drive you mad...
