I bought the reef kit at Petco. It seems to be working well for my tank so far especially since my tank is only 5 months old. You can also get them individually at Petsmart as well. Just follow the directions so you won't over dose.
Can you just send me the real frags instead? :D Seriously, congrats on getting the good frags. I was gonna order some from that seller too. But, he has too many negatives feedbacks.
Steve.
Thanks for the info about the Nutrafin. I'm just going to shiphon the cyano out, and change 25% water for now. Adding the tablets will be the last thing IF the cyano gets out of control.
Monthly maintenance for my 75 gal reef tank on average is about 20 bucks. Some months maybe a little higher because i have to buy fish foods, etc. I get free RO/DI water from the lfs. So it cuts down on the water bill some what.
Small individual FDs are popping up on the sand bed bougt from HD and on base rocks. I'm just curious as to how they got there. Did they populate from the two large FD i bought from lfs? Also, how large will these grow?

I use ken't reef starter kit to speed up the croaline algae process. I'm slowly cutting back on dosing now since the coraline algae is starting to spread around the tank.
My friend's father is building their new house around a 1200 gal reef tank. I believe he is using an ETSS commercial skimmer brand as well. That skimmer is about 12 ft tall. 8O :D
I called my lfs, and the owner says she uses RO/DI water. I feed the fish with Nutrafin Max flake food and dried nory algae every morning. Then, frozen meaty food such as Formular 1 or brine shrimps in the evening. Every 3rd days of the week, i do direct feeding method with kent's micro vert to...

I got RO water from a lfs which almost everyone here uses. The cyano is just on the substrate now. It is slowly covering other spots in the tank.

That what i'm afraid to hear. I'm thinking maybe i'll just vacum it out, and change 25% water every two weeks... You think it will help?
According to the package, these tablets are for treatment of tropical fish diseases. But, the people at my lfs says they used these tablets to get rid of cyano algae as well. Has anyone here try this method yet?
