I don't have any experience with that trigger so hopefully somebody who does will chime in. I'm sure your clowns will be alright, but your shrimp will be at risk.
I copied and pasted this from liveaquaria.com, hope it helps
"The Bursa Triggerfish needs a varied diet of meaty foods including; squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth."
I believe it is from the group Eunicea succinea.
GARF'S ALL ABOUT CORALS - GORGONIANS has a lot of info on the different types of gorgonians. This site says the Eunicea succina do not need to be fed but grow better when food is provided.
They are a soft coral and some are photosynthetic while others are not and require feedings. By looking at your pictures it looks pretty close to mine and I believe mine is photosynthetic so I have it fairly close to the top of my tank. I do however feed mine every other day with cyclopeeze...
Yep even if a fish brushes against it it sucks the polyps in and the "stalk" looks like a greyish purple
I feed mine cyclopeeze and when some flows by the polyps they close like a hand and grab the food and then open back up to grab more.
They are also known as sea fans and some of them are photosynthetic while others require feedings. Here is a link with more info
Gorgonians
I'll have to find the picture of mine and post it for you
I am wanting to get a goby and pistol shrimp for my tank because I find their relationship fascinating and was wondering if I could get them even though I have a blue jaw trigger?
I have hermits and snails in the tank right now and he hasn't bothered them.
