What's the best way? I'm prolly gonna be moving 3+ hours away including taking everything apart and setting it up again... It's a 38g with 9 Odessa barbs and one blue angel... I have prolly 75lbs of just substrate, I'm guessing but I have it at prolly 3 to 4 inches thick...I forget how much...

It's a quick question...so have a angel fish that's back tail is a little messed up...so I'm treating with melafix.... Now my question is...can I keep the carbon filter media in a tub with some tank water so it doesn't dry until he is healed or should I just buy another filter insert...it's one...

Check out Odessa Barbs as well... Also a 38g is 36in long but same width as a 20g...should be big enough heh

So I have a 12g Fluval Edge...prolly lightly planted compared to others I have seen...6 plants total... Anyways, its been up and working great for like 6 months or so, I just wanna know if I'm over stocked or what...it's all cycled and I check the water every few days and do the weekly water...

I may be wrong since I'm new as well but...from my research most if not all nice thick ground cover needs high light and co2 and isn't particularly easy to grow...I wanted the same thing when I started my planted tanks lol, I'm only missing co2 right now then in off on the thick ground cover...

So I have two aquariums both still relatively new, one is like 3 months, one is like a month old... Honestly (slap me if you want) I haven't been doing the normal weekly water changes I should (I think)...I was really under the impression that, Ammonia and NO2 and NO3 are good...its fine...

My lfs carries ista kits but I'm just curious what others may recommend? It's for a 38g...moderately to lower planted...will add more as these grow in, going for heavy planted eventually heh

Good to know ill research the different ones...and keep an eye out...if they are going for my plants will the leaves have like holes in them prolly? Have Odessa barbs and angels so from what I know the only thing that will eat them are/would be the snails heh

Is it a new one? With the LEDs? If so I use Vals to cover the sides...I think the older ones that didn't have LEDs didn't grow plants as well... This is an older pic...they have grown in a little more...still have the lame heap of java moss on the side tho heh dunno what to do with it...

Should I just watch and make sure they aren't eating my plants? Lol I'm like freakin out...If I come home from work one day and my plants are eaten I'm gonna cook me some escargot lol Just playin heh
