- A 75 gallon, I guess you would call it, community tank. I have two blood red parrots, a big Raphael cat, two tourquise severums and eleven tiger barbs (5 regular and 6 Albino). I LOVE MY TANK, although, getting started I went through h*)) and back trying to get algae out of the tank, acquire healthy water and find a happy mix of "fish" personalities. I bought the tank used, and it came with a 16" pacu, the Raphael cat, a rope fish and a blue loach. It is my first tank and I had NO IDEA about the fish combination the guy gave me. Needless to say, many tears and trips to the local fish store (which I'm learning may have greatly contributed to my problems and confusion!) later, the cat is the only thing I kept. Now, a year and a half later, I finally have a tank I am proud of and they all get along fantastically!
I also have a 10 gallon tank which is home to a big, bold and beautiful Oranda we affectionately call "Stache" (short for moustache).
