    Bolivian Ram Care Question

LOL, Yep, most of my fish are used to me staring at them, but bring out the phone or camera and they are shy. They are getting used to it. But the best photos come when I am a few feet away and zoom in. Works for me. Still no idea of the sex. Good Luck!

    Bolivian Ram Care Question

With my pair they both have the tail filaments. The female is the larger, the male does color up more during the breeding ritual. My pair do lock lips but the juveniles I have raised do also. I call it sparring, it is a site to behold. No real damage, As mentioned I along with others are 50%...

    Bolivian Ram Care Question

@Laser Your title caught my eye. Bolivians one of my favorite. I have breed and raised hundreds and still only about 50% correct sexing them. I recently sent a trio to a member on another forum. We both thought they were all males. Turns out 2 have paired up and spawned. Just goes to show you...

    Considering mystery snails

I have a crowntail Betta. I had a nerite with him for a couple of weeks but he kept pecking at it and flaring would not leave it alone. Decided to move the nerite. Trying again with a Mystery. Just caught him flaring at the Mystery. He is so ornery, but he better get used to it. Or I'll move...

    What is this?

You could try some Filter Fiber, it will help in catching any debris. I stick it right on top of my HOB. Works great, when it gets dirty remove and replace. Water Crystal Clear.

Can I add snails to my tank?

Get a snail Mystery or Nerite. My largest Mystery is a character, likes to parachute drop from the top, and its all over the tank. Just make sure they have something to eat. Mine love zucchini, algae wafers and also the algae. Oh, and Brussels Sprouts.

    Snails!

Agree with all. Snails need food. I do not clean my back glass just for snails and SAE's.
