I bought the reef octopus b100 and love it. The directions are confusing but you can download the improved ones from their website. Tuning is easy it does involve air tuning only water input. I constantly pull out nice gunk out of my 60g.

70 lbs of live rock, and using the portable RO/DI bought from Ebay.

I have been at this for about 8 months. Been fighting algae for 7 of those months. Here is my tank specs. ammonia=0 nitrites=0 trates= 5ppm ( i know the algae is making them low) phosphates= less than 2ppm I run something in a bag to eat the phosphates, but not sure what it is called. 60g tank...

My gsp is on the bottom on a rock by itself. After i got home from work it started to come out on two tentacles. My Zoas are near the top but I have had them in 3 spots with the same results.

Sorry meant to include this 4x 54W T5 HO. Maybe 2 months old built in timers. I run whites from 10am to 8pm and blues from 8am to 8pm and LEDs at night.

Is the strap total missing? Or just cracked down the middle? I read somewhere that you can take a piece of a smiliar plastic strip and superglue it on the underside.

How large is the tank? I have seen little tanks 20G or such have no impact. But with larger tanks it's a gamble. could bust out now or never. Look at the front glass from the side, is it bowed out?

Tomorrow I think my Koralia 750gph should come in tomorrow. Will that help remove dead spots? right now i use some generic Powerheaders.

Hello all! My tank has been established for about 4 months now and I am still getting Cyano outbreaks and red slime algae. I use RO/DI water, i feed 1 time every 2 days and I drain the frozen food in a separate container. My phosphates are at .25ML and my Trates are 0. Any ideas?
