Well my sump has 3 chambers 1st is the drain from overflow and skimmer second is live sand rock and macro, 3rd us return the water level in here is dropping the level in the dt constantly stats the same but that last chamber drops rapidly

I recently added a sump to my system and now every 30 hours or so I'm having to add a gallon of water cause the pump starts sucking air and filling my tank with bubbles. The problem is there's no Lfs near me with ro water so I've been treating tap water but now I'm getting a diatom algea bloom...

I'm at this point gonna run the tank for 2 months without adding anything and do weekly water changes until I'm confident that the params won't crash again

I added maybe 2 a month

55 gallon and a 30 running together. 6 months by the time I set up qt it was too late :( my other clown died last night I'm doing a 50% change with ro today

Strike that just noticed tge other clown died as well

1 clown and my mandarin dues this morning now I only have a clown a hawk fish an anemone and a shrimp left alive in my tank

I think it's the 800 im not sure on my return but I know my overflow drains faster than tge return last I checked

That doesn't work on mine it only works temporarily
