    Venustus

Thank you Thanks. This is a great site. According to their calculations, it's more than enough room. I guess the only real way to know is see how it goes and be ready to intervene.

    Venustus

I have 4 venustus in a 75 gallon, and am working on a Lake Malawi biotope in a 100 gallon to move them to. Most everything I read puts their requirement at 125 gallon or more. Does anyone have these guys in a >125 gallon setup, and have any would share any info you have? Thanks!

    Howdy

Thanks! I'll probably need it. Barely into a fishless cycle right now. Made spreadsheets of species/parameters/sizes/compatibility to keep me occupied until then. Kind of switch them out like a baseball roster to see what works. Reminds me of my coaching days. Good fun, but patience sucks.

    Howdy

Jim here. I kept African Cichlids in a 50 gallon many moons ago. When the war ended and the last fish standing was the pleco, I got a few Oscars that lived for many years until the Pleco died whilst I was away on vacation, so I took them to the local shop. Due to sheer dumb luck, not my...
