    Hello Everyone

Nice, glad to hear things have gotten a lot better! Looking forward to the pics! I just introduced my little demseys to a baby tiger oscar. Since they're both young and around the same size I think they'll work out to be good tank mates :)

    Hello Everyone

Aw I'm sorry to hear about the tetra :( I believe the albino sharks should have a ph from 6.0-8.0 so you should be good. Yes, the clown loaches can get pretty big if they're well taken cared of (probably up to 12-16 inches). Personally, I think it's okay if you leave them in the 45 gallon just...

    hello

I'm right with you on the expensive learning curve. I didn't know how expensive fish keeping could be but it's definitely worth the effort. Looking forward to the pics, welcome to the group!

    Hello Everyone

Welcome to the group! Definitely a bigger tank for the fish that glow larger (and more aggressive) would be very helpful to them. Keep doing your reguar partial water changes and perhaps test the water too (ammonia, ph levels, etc). Hopefully the tetra will be okay; I wish you the best!

    Hello- New Member

well if you have the room I would of course keep the fish and do an upgrade on a tank :) even barbs can grow fairly long (mine are growing pretty fast) and always go to local fish stores over pet stores 'cause they know what they're talking about and aren't just trying to simply make a sale...

I still want my oscar, but I'll just have to wait that out. That's awesome; gotta love all the personality in one tank :D

haha aw man that blood parrot needs to hold his name up and start pokin' back at that gourami!lol :D Glad you had the opportunity to adapt all those awesome fish and nurse them back to health! You have a great group! And I'm with you on keeping the to and gourami together. Even when I'm at a lfs...

haha my prochilodus has big kissing sucker lips too but he's just a big happy vegetarian fish. All his tank mates leave him be and he lets them go about their business too. wow he bullies bp's around? Gotta be a pretty tough gourami to take on those bp's :P

haha can't say I blame them either :P what's more aggressive you think? the tiger oscar or the albino oscar?

true they might not; it's kinda risky for me to put a TO in my tank as much as I'd like an oscar. Then again, what do TO's really get along with?lol And my jd's are electric/powder blue and i've heard that they may be less aggressive than regular jd's so i'm afraid an oscar would beat them them...

    Wanting a bala shark

haha that figures; mondo grass is not gonna prosper under water. Thing is, i've heard from LFS's that people who work in aquatics at petsmart/petco come and go. I'll admit, petsmart has some good deals with supplies/tanks, but don't always trust their advice.
